  • Presentations at high level international conferences, seminars, round tables, workshops and other events organized by intergovernmental organizations, such as the Council of Europe, the Council of the Baltic Sea States, the European Union, the United Nations, the Nordic Council, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the World Health Organization, and Europol.
  • Presentations, keynote speeches, workshops and other educational work on children’s rights for major NGOs and International Organizations, such as the International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN), UNICEF, Save the Children, the Nordic Child Welfare Conferences, the World Childhood Foundation, etc.
  • Organized and received delegations for study visits to Barnahus (the Children’s House) in Iceland of professionals, politicians, government and non-governmental officials from numerous countries during the past 20 years.
  • Provided training and technical assistance for setting up Barnahus (the Children’s House) to different sectors (judicial, social, health) for the past 20 years in various countries, including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Moldova, Cyprus, Malta, England, Slovenia and Scotland.
  • Participated in consultations, national events and provided technical assistance to numerous countries in Europe and beyond (e.g. in Jordan at the request of HM Queen Rania and in Tunisia).
  • Delivered the keynote speech at the 2005 day of general discussions dedicated to “Children without parental care” during the 40th session of the Committee on the Rights of the Child.
