Minister's absence extended

The medical treatment of Iceland's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ingibjorg Solrun Gisladottir, in Stockholm has been extended. She was due to undergo radiation therapy there this week for a brain tumour which was diagnosed last September. Doctors have decided that a biopsy is needed before a planned radiation therapy at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm.
