Road Map for Tourism in Iceland
Over the past years, the rise in the number of tourists visiting Iceland has far exceeded forecasts and the sector is expected to continue to grow. In order to support the successful development of tourism in Iceland, the minister of Industries and Commerce, who is also the minister of Tourism, and the Icelandic Travel Industry Association joined forces to shape a long-term tourism strategy with an emphasis on sustainable development.
