William Freyr Huntingdon-Williams, DHoM, was present at the Nordic Healthy Cities event in Yangpu, Shanghai. The event is part of a year long project in which the Nordic countries in China emphasis health related businesses and trade with events in a number of major Chinese cities.
The event was both in person and online and credited as an off-venue CIIE event. All five Nordic countries showcased their latest health care developments and introduced companies offering cutting edge services and innovation.
At the event, two Icelandic companies, Össur and RetinaRisk gave presentation on how their products and services strive towards a healthy China. Össur is a global leader in orthopaedics and prosthetics, with a strong presence in China. RetinaRisk is a HealthTech company providing personalized care based on individualized risk assessment, with a focus is diabetic eye disease, and looking towards accessing the Chinese market.
William Freyr Huntingdon-Williams, DHoM, participated in a Nordic roundtable on attitudes and developments in matters of physical and mental health and the growing importance of healthy as it relates to business.
