Ambassador Thórir Ibsen presented his credentials to the President of Mongolia March 28. The Embassy of Iceland in China also serves as the Embassy of Iceland to Mongolia. During the meeting, they discussed shared interest of Iceland and Mongolia in afforestation and using geothermal energy in Mongolia for district heating and to reduce air pollution in urban areas.
