The Government of Iceland expresses its profound sorrow at the terrible acts of terrorism which have been perpetrated today against the people of the United States of America.
People in Iceland have felt horror and compassion in witnessing these appalling attacks which have cost numerous innocent citizens their lives.
The Government of Iceland condemns this cowardly act and conveys its deepest condolences to the Government and the people of the United States of America.
