Introducing Icelandic Voices/American accent

The Icelandic American Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Consulate General of Iceland in New York has launched Icelandic voices/American accent, a podcast about Icelanders in the United States. The Icelanders featured range from art, business, and tech industries.

Host Helgi Steinar Gunnlaugsson talks first to Helgi Tómasson, retiring artistic director of the world-renowned San Francisco Ballet.

You will also be able to listen to other great stories, including from a baker in Maine, a professor of dentistry at NYU, original content director at Microsoft’s Minecraft and a California investment manager.

The first podcast airs 29 September 2022 and thereafter about twice a month

Icelandic voices/American accent is a podcast funded by the Icelandic American Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Consulate General of Iceland in New York. Host Helgi Steinar talks to Icelanders who have settled all over the United States, allowing them to share first hand their fascinating stories and experiences.
