Hosted by the Embassy of Iceland in Ottawa in partnership with Business Iceland, Kisserup International Trade Roots, and the Consulate General of Iceland in New York, this crash course on commercial opportunities in Canada will help Icelandic companies better understand the Canadian market and the opportunities it offers to those interested in expanding their footprint in this large yet welcoming country.

Participating Icelandic companies will learn about: benefits offered by the existing trade agreement between Canada and European Free Trade Association (EFTA), of which Iceland is a member; unique characteristics of the Canadian market; existing Canadian superclusters and synergies with similar clusters in Iceland; and, how to do business in Canada as an Icelandic company.

As a follow-up to this webinar, on December 1st, 2021, participating Icelandic companies with an active interest in entering or expanding their presence in the Canadian market will have an opportunity to consult directly with the Embassy's trade representative at the Gróska business growth centre in Reykjavík.
