Regulation No 848/2005 on the Thingvellir National Park, its protection and management
The purpose of this Regulation is to promote the conservation of the National Park at Thingvellir, a hallowed shrine of the Icelandic nation, and the protection of its natural features, biota and historical remains with a view to preserving the appearance of the National Park and maintaining its original natural features.
