Report of the Greenland Committee

In a letter dated 9 April 2019, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, appointed a three-member Greenland Committee to submit recommendations on how to strengthen co-operation between Greenland and Iceland as well as analysing current bilateral relations between the two countries. Össur Skarphéðinsson vas appointed Chairman, and other members appointed by the Minister were Unnur Brá Konráðsdóttir and Óttarr Guðlaugsson. The report was formally published on 20 January 2021. 

The report looks in detail at the current state-of-affairs in the West Nordic region and the Arctic. The Greenland Committee has made 99 recommendations of all kinds and prioritized ten.
