The IMF Executive Board to Review Iceland's Economic Programe

The IMF‘s Executive Board aims to discuss the first review of Iceland‘s economic programme at its meeting on Wednesday 28 October. Icelandic authorities are confident that the Executive Board will at its meeting complete the first review. Completion of the review will enable the imediate disbursement from the IMF of an amount equivalent to SDR 105 million (about USD 168 m). In addition, Icelandic authorities will receive access to USD 675 million of the total of USD 2.7 bn additional financing from the other Nordic countries and Poland.
