Yesterday was a historic day when Iceland attended the first session of the Human Rights Council since being elected to the Council this summer.

Iceland in France
The Embassy represents Iceland in France and is also accredited to five other countries, i.e. Algeria, Andorra, Italy, Lebanon, Morocco, Monaco, Portugal, Spain and Tunisia.
The Embassy is also a permanent Mission of Iceland to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Council of Europe.
