EFTA-India Free Trade Round in New Delhi.

Trade negotiators of the member states of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland met with their Indian counterparts in New Delhi from 3rd to 6th July 2023 to advance negotiations on a comprehensive Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA). The discussions primarily centred around the areas of trade in goods, trade in services, rules of origin, intellectual property rights (IPR), and trade and sustainable development. Director Þórður Jónsson was the negotiator for Iceland.
